'The Strange Machinery of Desire'

Alright, hands up where I can see 'em. Who here saw 'The Cell?' Who thought that, relatively unremarkable plot aside, it had gorgeous visuals? Who spent that night, snug in their beds, while visions of concrete and rebar danced in their heads? Who spent much of the next day at work doodling concrete origami cranes with bird skulls on them? Anybody?....okay, well, I guess it was just me. Don't ask me what it means, or where the title's from--it just attached itself to the painting, and I don't know where it's from. I love concrete.
